Scope of delivery and application
30 reflective stripes in 15mm width of different lengths (2-15cm)
Area of application for the stickers are smooth solid surfaces. The substrate must be dry and free from grease and dirt particles. This is particularly relevant when gluing on spokes, since a lot of dirt collects here. Even with new spokes, you should not do without a thorough cleaning, as the surface is often covered with a layer of grease that does not allow the stickers to stick!
It is therefore certainly helpful to use strong degreasing agents on spokes.
The notches on the sticker elements help with placement along the spoke. Then you first wrap the short side around the spoke, then the long side.
The outside temperature when gluing must not fall below 10° Celsius and ideally corresponds to room temperature.
After 1-2 days, the adhesive connects to the substrate until maximum adhesion is reached. Removing the stickers turns out to be a clever fiddling around. When removing, mechanical action helps better than chemicals.
Material and care
The stickers consist of a reflective film from the traffic safety sector, which is used for warning markings, traffic signs and information signs outdoors. The reflective foil meets the requirements of EN12899-1 and is characterized by its durability and absolute resistance to weathering, corrosion and solvents. Temperatures from -50° to +80° Celsius do not affect the material.
The retro reflection is created by tiny glass spheres that are attached to a transparent plastic layer and reflect the light back to the source. The surface is made of alkyd resin, the adhesive is made of solvent polyacrylate. The full reflection properties are guaranteed for at least 7 years.
The printed colors are UV-resistant and scratch-resistant, i.e. no fading due to sunlight or color loss due to weather or everyday stress.
The thickness of the stickers is around 0.1mm.
After the stickers have been properly applied, you can sit back and relax. Bad weather doesn't bother them. If it gets dirty, you can wipe the film off with water or commercially available cleaners without hesitation.

Nach langer Suche habe ich endlich unauffällige Speichenreflektoren für mein Gravelbike gefunden. Schwarze Speichen und schwarze Reflektoren passen gut zusammen. Also direkt bestellt, angekommen und mit Vorfreude an die Speichen des Vorderrades geklebt. Nach getanem Werk habe ich die Werkstatt abgedunkelt und die Reflektoren mit einer Taschenlampe beleuchtet. Hmm, seltsam. Die Speichenreflektoren meines Trekkingbikes reflektieren, wenn ich sie mit der Taschenlampe anstrahle, die Reflective Stickers nicht. Ich habe unterschiedliche Beleuchtungswinkel getestet, das Bike auf den Kopf gestellt und das Vorderrad gedreht und bestrahlt. Als wären keine Reflektoren vorhanden. Also habe mich meine Frau und meine Tochter zur Unterstützung geholt. Das selbe Prozedere nochmal abgespult. Auch die beiden sahen keine Reflektion.
Was machen wir jetzt liebes Team von Reflective Berlin? Die Hälfte der Sticker ist noch übrig. Am liebsten würde ich diese an euch zurück senden, weiße Reflektoren für die Felge bestellen und den halben Preis dafür bezahlen.

Lieber Mathias, vielen Dank für Deine ausführliche Rückmeldung und fürs gründliche Testen mit der ganzen Familie! Dass die Sticker bombenfest kleben, freut uns natürlich schon mal sehr. Jetzt wollen wir natürlich auch, dass sie richtig schön reflektieren.
Unsere reflektierenden Sticker leuchten nur dann stark zurück, wenn das Licht aus der gleichen Richtung kommt, aus der Du auch schaust – also wenn die Lichtquelle ganz nah bei Deinen Augen ist. Wie auf der Rückseite unseres Lieferscheins beschrieben: Halte z. B. die Handy-Taschenlampe direkt neben Deine Augen oder nutze eine Stirnlampe. Alternativ zeigt sich die Reflexion auch sehr gut auf einem Foto mit Blitz.

Unsere reflektierenden Sticker, wie zum Beispiel die bunten Speichensticker, ersetzen selbstverständlich nicht die laut StVZO vorgeschriebenen Reflektoren. Zwei gelbe Speichenreflektoren oder alternativ weiße Reflexstreifen an beiden Rädern sind gesetzlich vorgeschrieben - daran halten wir uns natürlich.
Unsere Sticker sind jedoch völlig legal als ergänzende Maßnahme. Sie erhöhen die Sichtbarkeit im Straßenverkehr deutlich, besonders bei Dunkelheit, Regen oder in der dunklen Jahreszeit. Genau dafür wurden sie entwickelt: für mehr individuelle Sichtbarkeit.
Tatsächlich arbeiten wir in mehreren Projekten mit der Polizei verschiedener Bundesländer zusammen. Auch Initiativen wie die Bürgerstiftung Berlin setzen auf unsere Sticker: Beim Projekt „Sichtbar mobil zur Schule“ wurden über 38.000 bunte Reflexsticker von uns an Erstklässler:innen in Berlin verteilt - ein starkes Signal für Sichtbarkeit und Sicherheit im Straßenverkehr.
Die gesetzlichen Reflektoren / Vorgaben bilden das absolute Minimum. Jede zusätzliche Maßnahme - ob an Speichen, Rahmen, Helm oder Kleidung - trägt spürbar zur eigenen Sicherheit bei. Und genau das ist unser Antrieb.

Sieht top aus und bietet Sichtbarkeit
Sehr langlebig, aber wenn man die Radfelge wechseln muss braucht man neue :D
Ich hatte mich dazu entschieden nur 1/5 des Radkreis zu bekleben. Damit sieht man sehr schön, wenn der Reifen rollt.
