The textile stickers are simply glued on. Ironing or sewing on is not necessary. Thanks to the combination of special adhesive film and flexible base structure, they stick to both textile and solid surfaces and are therefore a universally applicable solution for better visibility in the dark.
The surface to be stuck on should be dry and free of grease and dust. Remove the sticker from the backing paper and then press firmly. For good adhesive strength, it is also recommended that the stickers be applied at a temperature of at least 18°C.
The stickers can be easily removed by mechanically peeling them off. Re-sticking is then no longer possible due to the reduced adhesive strength. After prolonged use, adhesive residue on the surface cannot be ruled out.
Material and care
Our textile stickers consist of three layers. The reflective upper 3M Scotchlite layer consists of tiny glass beads, which are in turn processed onto a flexible fabric. This in turn is laminated with a PSA adhesive film, which adheres strongly to both textile and hard surfaces.
The degree of retroreflection is at least 300 cd/lux-m2, depending on the color. This means that the stickers are clearly visible from a long distance. The rainbow-reflective version is not quite as bright as the single-colored versions.
The reflective material is certified according to Oeko-Tex 100 standard.
The stickers withstand high temperature fluctuations (-40°C - 90°C) and are weather and solvent resistant.
The thickness is about 0.2mm.
The folding packaging is made of recycled paper.
A large number of washing tests with a wide variety of clothing items and types of fabric have produced consistently positive results and good adhesion even after several washes (at 40 °C).
How often the stickers survive washing machine cycles depends on several factors, in particular the surface material of the clothing and the washing program. Coated (functional) materials (eg water-repellent outerwear) prevent an optimal bond between the fabric and the adhesive, which can cause the stickers to fall off. Strong spinning and high heat in the dryer will also have a negative effect on the adhesion of the stickers.

Gleiches Produkt aber sehr unterschiedlich =/
Hi,
Iich wollte eigentlich keine Bewertung abgeben. Aber wenn Ihr so gern eine Bewertung möchtet =).
Ich habe 2 x "Reflektierende Textilsticker: DIY" in Regenbogen Optik bestellt. Nachdem ich die zwei Sheets erhalten habe, war mein Plan bereits durchkreuzt. Ich wollte beide zu einem großen Quadrat zusammen auf den Rücken meiner Jacke kleben, und bei Einem Sheet kleinere Stücke herausschneiden und etwas versetzen.
Leider unterscheiden die Stücke sich in er Größe (ca. 1mm) aber auch in der Ausrichtung des Effekts (Eins vertikal, eins horizontal). Zudem sehen beide ohne Reflexion unterschiedlich aus (Unterschiedliche Schwarztöne). Auch die Haptik der Oberfläche unterscheidet sich spürbar. Sie sind zwar nicht unbrauchbar, aber leider auch nicht, was ich mir erhofft habe.
Jedes Sheet für sich genommen ist toll. Daher noch 3 Sterne. Bin leider trotzdem enttäuscht. Das sollte so nicht passieren und erst recht nicht in einer Bestellung ;-)
Ich denke ich werde nicht wieder bei euch kaufen.

danke Dir für Deine offene Rückmeldung – und auch dafür, dass Du Dir die Zeit für eine Bewertung genommen hast.
Dass sich die beiden DIY-Sheets in Ausrichtung und Haptik unterscheiden, liegt an der Art, wie sie gefertigt werden: Jedes einzelne Stück wird in Handarbeit in Berlin konfektioniert – dabei kann es zu (sehr) kleinen Abweichungen kommen, zum Beispiel bei der Struktur der Oberfläche oder der Laufrichtung des Materials. Dein Feedback geben wir auf jeden Fall an unsere Werkstatt weiter – danke, dass Du uns darauf aufmerksam gemacht hast.
Wir verstehen gut, dass das bei Deinem Projekt mit der geplanten Kombination beider Sheets störend war – schade, dass wir Deine Erwartungen diesmal nicht erfüllen konnten. Umso mehr freut es uns, dass Du die Qualität der einzelnen Sets trotzdem wahrnimmst.
Vielleicht darf sich ja ein anderes Produkt von uns bei Deinem nächsten Projekt von der besten (und hellsten) Seite zeigen.

Textilsticker DIY
Ich bin total zufrieden mit meiner Entscheidung,der Sticker ließ sich sehr gut verarbeiten und hat sehr gut geklebt. Ich habe diesen für meinen Rucksack verwendet um diesen mit Streifen zu versehen, diese wurde selbst zugeschnitten. Sehr gute Sichtbarkeit im dunklen. 👍😍
